Batterson, Dennis Streets Capital Improvement Project
With summer quickly approaching the City of Monte Vista is gearing up for our summer construction schedule. Our first project is the completion of the Batterson, Dennis Streets Capital Improvement Project. The City has worked with our contractor for this phase of the project, ACI and we have determined that the project will begin on April 1, 2024. The construction will begin on Batterson from 4th Ave. to Lariat. Construction will then proceed to Dennis Street from Lariat to 4th Ave. and the final phase will be construction on 4th Ave. from Batterson the Highway 15 (South Broadway). Door hangers will be sent out to the properties affected by the street closures as the project gets closer.
During the construction the following streets will be closed to through traffic:
4th Avenue from Dennis to State Highway 15 (S. Broadway)
Batterson Street from 4th to Lariat Road
Dennis Street from 4th to Lariat Road.
