PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
MOSQUITO SPRAY
The City of Monte Vista will be starting our Mosquito Spray Operations on May 25, 2023 at 8:00 p.m.
Each year the City works to control the mosquito population by using both aerial spraying of adulticides of the City boundaries and applies larvicides in areas of standing water.
Beginnig May 25, 2023 the City will once again begin this process. We will employ two truck mounted aerial foggers. They will begin on furthest boundaries of the City and work toward the center of town. They will only do the streets this year until the public meeting have been concluded and decisions about the program have been made
